플로우차트로 구조화된 직업 선택의 과정을 판타지 동화 양식과 결합합니다.
직업을 선택하는 과정에 있어 하게 되는 질문과 그 대답을 플로우차트 구조로 구성하되, 일러스트레이션 황금기의 판타지 동화 양식으로 시각화합니다. 각 단계와 결과는 장식적인 이미지로 그려집니다. 관람자는 yes 혹은 no를 선택해 길을 따라가거나, 종착지에 도달하지 못하고 헤매며 끝나지 않는 여정을 경험합니다. 효율을 위한 구조 속에 복잡한 길을 따라가고 상상하며 길을 찾는 서사를 담았습니다.
플로우차트는 과정을 단순한 선택의 흐름으로 요약하여, 절차적 복잡함을 정리하고 명확한 판단을 유도하는 도구입니다. 그러나 복잡함은 때로는 깊이와 유희, 예측 불가능한 가능성을 품습니다. 현실이 과감히 비약되더라도 번연한 세계를 가집니다. 영원히 논리적이어야 할 것만 같은 선택 이면의 재미를 상상한 작업입니다.
This project combines a flowchart-structured process of career choice with the format of a fantasy fairy tale.
The questions asked and the answers given in the process of choosing a career are organized into a flowchart structure and visualized in the fantasy fairy tale style of the golden age of illustration. Each stage and outcome is depicted through decorative and narrative imagery. Viewers choose “yes” or “no” and follow the path accordingly, or find themselves wandering without ever reaching a final destination, experiencing an endless journey. Within a structure designed for efficiency, the work weaves a narrative of following complex paths, imagining, and searching for one’s way.
A flowchart is a tool that summarizes a process into a simple flow of choices, organizing procedural complexity and guiding clear decisions. Yet complexity can also hold depth, playfulness, and unpredictable possibilities. Even when reality makes bold leaps, it can give rise to a rich and expansive world. This work imagines the enjoyment hidden behind choices that seem as though they must always be purely logical.
