‘Холбоос (Kholboos)’ is a Mongolian rock band, expressed through collage style using different materials and paper scraps. Kholboos means ‘connection’ in Mongolian which these materials come together as one to create the members of the band. Each 5 member represents 5 biggest nomad groups of Mongolia while individually expressing the cultural and visual differences of the each traditional clothing. Using the traditional instruments to form a band, Kholboos aims to show the diversity and show awareness of the most important part of Mongolian culture by carrying the key features while minimalizing it visually and artistically.
