어릴 적, 나만의 아지트를 갖고 싶었던 기억에서 출발했습니다. 아이들이 스스로 조립하며 자신만의 공간을 만들어가는 경험을 통해, 창의력과 자율성을 키우는 놀이형 키트입니다.
It began from the childhood memory of wanting a secret hideout of my own. This play-based kit allows children to assemble and create their own spaces, fostering creativity and independence through hands-on building experiences.
Development
조인트 구조에 집중하여 디자인을 개발했습니다. 문에서 보이는 경첩(hinge) 형태에서 아이디어를 얻어, 다양한 각도를 만들어낼 수 있는 조인트 형태를 고안했습니다. 이 조인트들은 패널을 단단히 연결해줄 뿐만 아니라, 자유롭게 각도를 조절하며 구조를 형성할 수 있도록 합니다. 아이들이 스스로 여러 공간 형태를 조립하고 만들어갈 수 있도록 다양한 조인트 구조를 탐구했으며, 이를 통해 창의적이고 역동적인 구성 가능성을 강조했습니다.
I developed the design with a focus on the structure of the joints. Inspired by the hinge shapes seen on doors, I created joint forms that can generate a wide range of angles. These joints not only connect the panels securely but also allow the structure to flex and adjust freely. I explored various joint mechanisms so that children can independently build and assemble different spatial forms, emphasizing the potential for creative and dynamic configurations.
