RF: Re-Flower Series
RF Series는 화훼산업구조에서 발생하는 식물성 폐기물을 활용해 새로운 소재와 조형의 가능성을 탐구한 연작입니다. 현대 도자공예 기법 중 페이퍼클레이 원리를 차용해 연구를 진행하며, 점토가 세라믹이 되는 긴 과정 속에서 두 소재의 화학적 상호작용을 포착해 조형적으로 치환했습니다.
RF Series explores new material and formal possibilities by transforming plant-based waste from the floral industry. Using principles of paper clay, the project captures the material interactions between plant fibers and clay throughout the ceramic process.

화훼산업에서 발생하는 대규모 식물성 폐기물을 수거해 플라스틱 꽃다발 포장재를 대체하는 바이오 시트 개발.
Development of bio-sheets as an alternative to disposable plastic flower wraps.
RF.2
식물폐기물, 도자, 자작나무 합판
식물 폐기물 속 섬유질의 성질에 주목해, 현대도자공예 페이퍼클레이 원리를 접목한 세라믹 퍼니쳐 개발.
- 가압방식으로 각 타일을 성형한 후 상감기법으로 패턴을 만들며, 구조를 곧 조형으로 치환.
- 별도의 화병을 꽂으면 직육면체가 완성되어, 테이블 자체에서 꽃이 피어나는 듯한 인상 연출.
Floral waste, Ceramic, Birch Plywood
Development of ceramic furniture applying paper clay principles, focusing on the fibrous properties of plant waste.
- Each tile was hand made(compression method), with structure translated into form through inlay techniques.
- Rectangular volume is filled when separate vases are inserted, creating the impression of flowers emerging directly from the table.

식물폐기물, 도자, 스테인레스 스틸, 유리
소재의 조형적 가능성을 확장하기 위해 캐스팅 기법을 연구해 모듈러 형태의 세라믹 타일 화병 개발.
- 드레인캐스팅 기법으로 속이 비어있는 가벼운 입체타일
- 원판을 자유롭게 돌리고 뒤집으며 배치할 수 있는 모듈러 화병
