〈곤 + 충 + 복 + 각 + 기〉는 파편화된 곤충의 형상을 대화를 통해 복각해 나가는 생태계 복원 프로젝트다.
곤충은 지구에서 가장 오래된 생명체이자 가장 많은 종으로 분화된 존재이며, 동시에 아직 발견되지 않은, 수많은 미지의 가능성을 포함한다.
〈RE+BUG+GING〉 is an ecological restoration project that reconstructs the form of fragmented insects through dialogue.
Insects are Earth's oldest organisms and the most diverse, holding countless undiscovered possibilities.
복각의 형태 - 대화
복각 과정은 말이 반복되고 응답되어야 비로소 존재하게 되는, 대화의 방식을 따른다.
머리, 가슴, 배, 그리고 움직임이라는 네 개의 대화 주제로 나누어 질문과 응답을 반복하고 각 응답은 곤충의 형태를 결정하는 조건이 되며, 결국 하나의 완성된 개체가 복각된다. 곤충은 관찰의 대상이 아니라 언어에 의해 말해지고, 응답되며, 호출되는 존재로 설정된다. 여기서 언어는 대상을 설명하는 도구가 아닌, 새로운 생명을 발생시키는 조건으로 작동한다.
The restoration follows the dialogic mode, where existence is realized through repeated words and responses.
The process repeats questions across four themes—head, thorax, abdomen, and movement—where each response determines the insect's final form. The insect is not an object of observation but an entity summoned by language. Language, here, functions not as a descriptive tool but as a condition that generates new life.

이러한 과정을 통해 복각된 곤충들은 웹이라는 실제와 허구의 경계에서 새로운 생태계를 구성하게 된다.
Through this process, the reconstructed insects form a new ecosystem on the web, straddling the boundary between reality and fiction.
